Tangerine Time

One thing that caught my eye about this shirt is the buttons along the back. I like little details that make a piece of clothing a little different from the others. This outfit can also easily be dressed down. Just simply slip on a pair of flats to make a comfortable transition from day to night.

Neon Pink Tee

I love outfits like these because they are super comfortable yet at the same time trendy. I wore this outfit over the weekend when going to a casual restaurant with my husband. I’m thinking that this will be one of my favorite things to wear this summer – a fitted v-neck tee paired with a comfortable cotton skirt, topped off with a statement necklace.

 This last weekend was the perfect time to break out the shorts, and what better way to wear them than by adding a colorful top to the mix. Sometimes when running errands on the weekends, I like to wear a dressy-casual outfit – something that is comfortable and casual, yet feels put together and polished.

The Little (and Big) Things

{This picture is a reminder of our special day nearly 4 years ago, and all that we have to look forward to in the future}

Last weekend, we had to take my husband to the emergency room where he underwent surgery the next morning. I was completely scared and surprised to say the least, but everything went smoothly and he has been recovering nicely at home. I focused my time and attention this week on taking care of him, which I was more than happy to do. I am relieved that he is doing well and back at home. This experience reminded me of how important he is to me, and how thankful I am for my family.

(P.S. – Outfit posts will be back up next week!)
