St. Maarten was our favorite island of the three that we visited. It is unique because half of the island is French, and the other half is Dutch. It was fun to eat at a French cafe for lunch, which had a radio station playing where the DJ’s spoke French. We spent a few hours at Orient Beach, which was one of the prettiest beaches I’ve visited. The water was perfectly clear and blue, and the sand was nearly white.
