I’ve seen a few sequin collared shirts recently in some of the new fall catalogs, and although I absolutely love them, I can’t seem to justify paying $100 or more for one of them.
That’s when I decided to make my own. It was simple and doesn’t require any sewing (I really should learn one day). Here are the easy steps to make your own.

You’ll need:
- A collared shirt
- Modge Podge jewel glue (it’s washable)
- Around 5 feet of a strip of sequins approx. 1/2″ wide (I had extra left over, just in case)
- Scissors
- Pins

{Line the collar with a strip of the sequins, and cut to the length of collar. I used three strips on mine.}

{Line the sequins strips with glue, and press onto the collar}

{To hold in place while the glue dried, I stuck pins through the collar and let dry for 24 hours}

{Repeat 2-3 times, depending on the width of your collar}

{Now I’m waiting for fall to come so that I can wear this!}
