I felt lucky when I happened to notice this striped clutch on a sale shelf almost too high for me at J. Crew. It’s made of canvas, which makes it a great casual clutch. With the colored stripes and low sale price, I couldn’t resist.

Tonight is one of my most favorite nights of the year – Fashion’s Night Out! It’s the one night where you’re encouraged to shop and see what great deals are being offered at your favorite stores.

We went last year and it felt like trick-or-treating for grown-ups – it was dark outside (we were in an outdoor shopping center), the stores who were participating had balloons and red carpets in front of their entrances (similar to having the lights on at your house if passing out candy for Halloween), and we went into each store wondering what cool freebies we would walk out with.

It was so much fun, and I can’t wait to see what tonight brings!
