Sorry that the blog has been a little quiet lately, but let me explain. My husband and I recently came back from a vacation in Italy! We had been planning this trip for over a year, and it was definitely worth the wait. Italy was unbelievable!

This week I’ll be sharing pictures from our trip. Our first stop was in Rome, and we stayed at the Hotel San Anselmo. I almost didn’t want to leave the hotel because it was so pretty and I loved the canopy bed. But after a mishap that involved smoke with the straightening iron (word of advice: just buy your hair tools there instead of bringing your own), we were more than ready to venture into the city. It was busy – full of people, fashion, cars, dogs, and gelato.
